Everything on this page is published for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing here is investment, financial, legal, tax, or trading advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security or contract, or a solicitation of any kind. Trading futures, options, equities, and crypto involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. Past performance — including any backtests, demos, or examples shown — does not guarantee future results. Consult a licensed professional before acting on anything you read here.
Legal & disclosures.
The honest legal posture for the Nexural automation curriculum. Updated May 2026.
1. Educational only.
Everything in the Nexural automation curriculum — the six PDFs, the six web pages, the certification badge page, and the curriculum index — is educational material. It is intended to teach the principles, vocabulary, and workflows of trading automation as we understand them.
Nothing in the curriculum is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, short, or otherwise transact in any security, derivative, cryptocurrency, or other financial instrument. Examples that name specific instruments, venues, or strategies are illustrative and may be out of date the moment you read them.
2. Not financial advice.
We are not your financial advisor, broker, registered investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, or fiduciary. The curriculum does not consider your tax situation, your risk tolerance, your time horizon, your capital base, your domicile, your regulatory status, or your existing portfolio.
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Backtest performance is not realised performance. Realised performance in a paper-trading sandbox is not realised performance with real money. Real-money performance in one period is not real-money performance in the next.
Decisions you make after reading the curriculum are entirely your own. If you need personalised advice, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
3. No broker or venue relationship.
Nexural is not a broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, swap dealer, exchange, alternative trading system, or money services business. We do not custody assets, route orders, hold customer funds, or take the other side of any trade.
Where the curriculum discusses specific platforms, brokers, or venues, those discussions are based on publicly available information at the time of writing. We have no affiliate, referral, or revenue-share relationship with any platform unless we explicitly disclose it on the relevant page.
4. Risk warnings.
Algorithmic and automated trading carries substantial risk of loss. Losses can exceed the amount initially deposited if leverage, margin, options, or futures are involved. Many participants who attempt automated trading lose money. Some lose more than they can afford to lose.
Software bugs, data errors, broker outages, network failures, exchange halts, regulatory changes, and pure bad luck can each independently turn a profitable strategy into a costly one. The Operations module covers many of these risks but cannot eliminate them.
Do not deploy real capital based on this material until you have completed the production-readiness gates described in Module 05 (Machine Learning) and Module 06 (Operations), and only then with capital you can afford to lose.
5. The certification badge is marketing.
The badge available at /learn/automation/certification is a static marketing graphic. It is not an accredited credential, not an industry designation, not a regulatory licence, and not a substitute for any of those things.
Anyone who visits the page can claim the badge. There is no quiz, no proctor, no grader, no registrar, and no third-party verification. We do not log who claims it or check whether they actually read the material.
Do not represent the badge as a FINRA, NFA, SEC, CFTC, CFA Institute, GARP, or CMT Association credential. It is not equivalent to a Series 3, Series 7, Series 24, Series 65, CFA, CIPM, FRM, CAIA, CMT, or any similar designation, and we make no claim that it confers comparable knowledge.
6. Intellectual property and licence.
The text, code samples, diagrams, and PDFs in the curriculum are © 2026 Sage Ideas LLC. You may read, download, print, and share the PDFs freely, including for non-commercial educational use within a small team. You may quote short passages with attribution to Nexural.
You may not republish the curriculum in full as your own work, sell access to it, train large language models on it without our written permission, or use Nexural's name and marks to imply an endorsement we have not given.
Code samples may be reused under permissive terms unless a specific snippet says otherwise. We provide no warranty on code, examples, or PDFs — see the limitation of liability below.
7. Limitation of liability.
The curriculum is provided 'as is' and 'as available', without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sage Ideas LLC, its officers, employees, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of trading capital — arising out of or in connection with your use of the curriculum.
Where a jurisdiction does not permit certain exclusions of warranty or limitations of liability, those exclusions and limitations apply only to the extent permitted in that jurisdiction.
8. Changes and corrections.
We revise the curriculum from time to time without notice. We try to flag breaking changes in the changelog but do not guarantee a complete record of revisions.
If you spot an error — a wrong number, a stale link, an outdated regulation citation — file an issue on the public repository or email the support address on the contact page. We treat factual corrections as the highest-priority backlog item.
9. Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from the curriculum will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
If any provision of this page is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
