Choose the right interaction
Use the narrowest route that fits your job. Nex does not answer every message or analyze every image dropped into the server.
| What you need | Use | What to include |
|---|---|---|
| A direct educational answer | /ask question: … | Concept, market or system, timeframe, and the exact part you do not understand |
| Help in an active channel | Ask naturally in the appropriate learning or discussion room | Your current read, evidence, rule, and one focused question |
| Help outside an active channel | @mention Nex | Enough context to explain why the question belongs there |
| A follow-up | Reply to Nex | Name the sentence, assumption, or source you want clarified |
| Chart review | Attach the chart and make an explicit analysis request | Symbol, timeframes, marked location, thesis, stop, target, and your question |
| Guided practice | Academy lesson controls | Use Show Me an Example, I’m Confused, Check Understanding, and Continue |
Build a useful question
Choose the job, add the evidence you already have, and preview a question that gives Nex enough structure to help without making the decision for you.
Request a chart review
Before attaching the image, mark the chart and write your own read. Nex can critique visible evidence; it cannot recover missing context from a cropped screenshot.
- 01
Attach one readable chart with the symbol and both decision timeframes visible.
- 02
Mark the higher-timeframe structure and the exact Volume Profile or structural location.
- 03
State your QPulse timing read and Flow Pro participation read instead of asking “thoughts?” alone.
- 04
Write the planned entry, stop, target, invalidation, and reward-to-risk—or state that you are studying and have no trade plan.
- 05
Ask Nex to find the strongest evidence against your thesis before asking for confirmation.
@Nex review this chart as an STS process check.

Exact question: Which gate is weakest, and what evidence would invalidate my read?Challenge the first answer
The first response is a working explanation. Good follow-up questions test its sources, assumptions, and limits instead of asking Nex to sound more confident.
Show the grounding
Ask which STS document, indicator knowledge record, book section, or live data point supports the claim.
Argue the other side
Ask what observable evidence would make the opposite interpretation stronger.
Change the depth
Ask for a beginner explanation, a professional mechanics read, or a comparison table.
Name the next check
Ask for the next evidence-gathering step, not a personalized buy, sell, or size instruction.
Which source supports that conclusion?
What part is current market data, and what part comes from the Nexural knowledge base?
What evidence would prove this read wrong?
Explain the same idea for a beginner without removing the risk boundary.
Now give me the professional version: mechanics, data limits, and correlated inputs.
Which indicator in my stack is redundant?
What should I observe next if I decide to pass?Understand what Nex knows
Nex combines durable Nexural source material with retrieved context and, when available, current providers. Those layers have different freshness and authority.
- 01Canonical system
STS rules, playbooks, routine, indicator knowledge, and the Nexural personality constitution.
- 02The book
The Asymmetric Investor supplies research, risk, psychology, validation, and professional-practice context.
- 03NEX retrieval
The knowledge service retrieves relevant source chunks and scores their similarity and authority.
- 04Member context
Allowed learning and interaction history can help Nex continue the conversation when memory is enabled.
- 05Current evidence
Market and provider data may be added when available; freshness and symbol coverage still need checking.
- 06Safety gate
Output is checked for unsupported high-risk claims before it reaches a public channel.
Control what you share and what Nex remembers
Treat every public room as public to its permitted members. Use hypothetical numbers when exact account details are not necessary.
Do not post brokerage credentials, account balances, order IDs, tax records, legal names, addresses, or private identifying information.
Use `/forget-me channel` to change memory capture for your account in the current channel.
Use `/forget-me everything` to purge supported Sage memory and opt out of future memory capture.
Use a private support ticket for account or access issues; do not troubleshoot credentials in a trading room.
Assume a generated answer may be visible to the room unless Discord clearly marks the interaction private.
Contribute like a useful room member
The standard is not sounding institutional. The standard is showing enough process that another person can understand, test, or challenge your reasoning.
| Room behavior | Useful contribution | Noise to avoid |
|---|---|---|
| Beginner Corner | Name the concept and the sentence you cannot explain yet | “How do I trade?” with no narrower question |
| Ask Questions | Share a marked chart or rule and ask one exact process question | Dropping a ticker and asking “up or down?” |
| Trade Room | Post the complete plan, invalidation, and risk geometry | Entry calls with no stop or context |
| Daily Discussion | Add one current observation and why it matters | Repeating headlines or emotional play-by-play |
| Profits and Losses | Review what you planned, followed, violated, and learned | P&L screenshots without process |
| Indicator Ideas | Define the decision job, inputs, expected failure, and validation plan | Adding another line because it looks accurate in hindsight |
Your first useful Nexural interaction
Progress stays in this browser. It is not sent to Discord, Nex, or a brokerage account.
