Nexural Pressure Pro

See who controls the market — buyers, sellers, or neither.

PressureRegimeWyckoffOrder Flow

ADX tells you a trend exists. It doesn't tell you who's winning. DI Pressure strips the directional index down to its raw components — DI+ (buyer pressure) minus DI- (seller pressure) — and presents the imbalance as a single oscillator.

This is a trend confirmation tool, not an entry trigger. When you have a long setup, check DI Pressure: is it positive and rising? Buyers have the upper hand. Is it flat or negative? Your long trade is fighting against pressure. The most valuable signal is the pressure crossover — when DI Pressure flips from negative to positive, it's a real shift in who controls the market.

Use it to confirm regime changes and validate the direction of your STS entries. Think of it as a tailwind/headwind check before committing capital.

What's Inside

Feature Breakdown

Every component of Nexural Pressure Pro explained — what it does, why it matters, and how to read it.

Pressure Oscillator

Single oscillator showing net imbalance between buying (DI+) and selling (DI-) pressure. Positive = buyers dominating. Negative = sellers. Zero = equilibrium.

Direction + Strength

Unlike ADX which is always positive, DI Pressure shows both direction AND magnitude. +30 = strong buyers. -30 = strong sellers. ADX shows 30 for both — losing the directional info.

Pressure Crossover

When DI Pressure crosses from negative to positive, buyers have taken control. This crossover precedes multi-bar trend moves and is a strong confirmation signal.

Divergence Detection

When price makes a new high but DI Pressure makes a lower high, buying pressure is waning. Early warning that the trend is losing its institutional foundation.

How to Trade It

Trade Setups & Examples

Real trade setups using Nexural Pressure Pro. Each example shows the setup, entry trigger, and target.

1
Trend Confirmation
Setup

You have a long setup: VP level held, QPulse crossing zero, Flow Pro green. Check DI Pressure.

Entry

DI Pressure is positive (+15) and rising — buyer pressure confirms. Enter with full conviction. If flat or negative, reduce size.

Target

Hold until DI Pressure flattens or turns negative. Pressure often warns before price reverses.

2
Pressure Crossover
Setup

DI Pressure has been negative (sellers in control). It curls up and crosses above zero — buyers have taken over.

Entry

Enter long on the bar after the positive crossover. This signals a sustained regime shift, not a one-bar event.

Target

Hold for a multi-bar trend move. Trail stop using fast JMA or ATR.

Configuration

Settings Reference

Every setting explained. Defaults work out of the box — adjust only when you understand why.

DI Period
Default: 14

Directional Index calculation period. Standard Wilder setting. Shorter (7-10) for scalping.

Smoothing
Default: 5

Smoothing applied to the DI difference. Higher = fewer crossovers but more reliable. 3-5 ideal for intraday.

Show Components
Default: Off

Optionally overlay raw DI+ and DI- lines alongside the pressure oscillator.

Alert on Crossover
Default: Off

Triggers alert when DI Pressure crosses zero — the directional shift signal.
