Nexural Volume Profile
See where institutions actually traded — not where retail thinks support is.
Most traders draw support and resistance by connecting candle wicks. That's guesswork. Nexural Volume Profile replaces it with one question: where did real money trade?
This is a five-layer institutional analysis system — not just a histogram. Layer 1 uses sub-timeframe bar data with Gaussian kernel convolution to distribute volume across price rows. Layer 2 adds delta intelligence with buy/sell splits and imbalance stack zones. Layer 3 detects institutional supply/demand zones, naked POCs, and poor highs/lows. Layer 4 provides multi-session context with value area overlap classification and POC migration trails. Layer 5 delivers live intelligence with POI summary tables and real-time session delta panels.
This is the WHERE indicator in the Sage Trading System. It doesn't give you direction or entry signals. It gives you the levels that actually matter — because billions of dollars are anchored there.
Feature Breakdown
Every component of Nexural Volume Profile explained — what it does, why it matters, and how to read it.
Point of Control (POC)
The single price level with the most traded volume in the session. This is the fair value price — where the most agreement occurred between buyers and sellers. Price gravitates toward POC like a magnet.
Value Area (VAH / VAL)
The price range containing 70% of the session's volume. VAH (Value Area High) and VAL (Value Area Low) act as boundaries. Price inside the value area is in balance; price outside is exploring for new value.
Supply & Demand Zones
Automatically detected zones where institutional accumulation (demand) or distribution (supply) occurred. These aren't hand-drawn rectangles — they're computed from actual volume clusters.
Naked POC Magnets
POC levels from previous sessions that price never revisited. Naked POCs act as magnets — price has unfinished business at these levels and will often return to test them.
Delta Intelligence
Volume delta (buy volume minus sell volume) at each price level. Shows whether a level was built by aggressive buyers or sellers — critical for understanding whether support will hold or fold.

Trade Setups & Examples
Real trade setups using Nexural Volume Profile. Each example shows the setup, entry trigger, and target.
Price pulls back to yesterday's POC during the first 30 minutes. Volume Profile shows heavy volume at this level with positive delta (buyers dominated).
Enter long when QPulse crosses above zero at POC. Flow Pro confirms with green stacks and buy imbalance.
Target VAH (Value Area High) of the current session. Stop below the demand zone under POC.
Price rallies into VAL from below but gets rejected. The value area is overhead resistance. Volume thins out above VAL — no institutional interest higher.
Enter short when QPulse crosses below zero at VAL. Flow Pro shows red stacks and sell imbalance.
Target the POC below. Stop above VAH.
Identify a naked POC from 2-3 sessions ago. Price is trending toward it with strong flow. The level hasn't been tested — it's unfinished business.
Enter in the direction of the naked POC when price is within 1 ATR. Use QPulse for timing.
The naked POC itself is the target. Once touched, the magnet effect is complete.
Settings Reference
Every setting explained. Defaults work out of the box — adjust only when you understand why.
Controls which trading session to calculate the profile from. Auto detects your chart's session. RTH = Regular Trading Hours only. ETH = Extended/Globex included.
The percentage of total volume that defines the value area. 70% is the institutional standard. Higher values widen the zone.
Number of price rows in the histogram. Auto adjusts to your chart zoom level. Higher resolution shows finer detail but can be noisy.
Displays POC levels from prior sessions that haven't been revisited. These act as price magnets.
Overlays buy/sell delta on the volume histogram. Green = buyer-dominated, Red = seller-dominated.
How many previous sessions to display profiles for. More sessions = more context but more chart clutter.
