How we trade

Day trades, swing trades and long-term investing, side by side.

In one sentence

We mainly day trade, we also swing trade, and we invest for the long term.

Why it matters

Each style has its own speed and its own risk. A day trade can be over in minutes. A long-term buy can last for years.

If you mix them up, you get hurt. For example, you might hold a day trade for weeks because you do not want to take a loss. Knowing the style helps you follow the right plan.

Do this

  1. Look at the cards below. Note how long each style lasts and how risky it is.
  2. Pick one style to learn first. Most people start by watching, not trading.
  3. Read the page for that style: Day trades, Swing trades or Long-term investing.
  4. Before any trade, decide how much you can lose. Read Position size in plain numbers.

Real example

These cards are the same ones shown on nexural.io. They list the channels to watch for each style. The surge-alerts and daily-top-5 channels are system alerts from our engine, not Sage's own trades.

Big-money options bets

We watch where big players bet. It's a clue, not a trade.

Risk

Big-money options bets are not trades we copy. We watch them as a clue to where large players are putting money.

Common mistakes

  • Turning a day trade into a long hold. If the plan was to be out today, get out today.
  • Using day-trade size on a long hold. Longer holds can swing more. Plan for that.
  • Thinking lower risk means no risk. Even long-term investing can lose money.

Nothing here is advice for you. It shows how we trade. You decide what fits you.
