Step 3: Go or no-go — is anyone really trading?

Use Flow Pro to check for real buying or selling. No activity means no trade.

In one sentence

Flow Pro shows whether real buying or selling is behind the move, and if it looks dead, you do not trade.

Why it matters

A price move with no one behind it often fades. You get small loss after small loss. Sage calls trading in dead, choppy markets the number one account killer.

This step can cancel a trade even when the level and the timing look perfect.

Do this

  1. After the QPulse cross, look at Flow Pro.
  2. For a buy, look for green bars building. That means buyers are showing up.
  3. For a sell, look for red bars building.
  4. If the bars are flat, tiny, or flipping back and forth, it is a no-go. Skip the trade.
  5. Be extra careful at lunch time. Trading often goes quiet then. A lunch trade is fine only if Flow Pro is clearly active.

Real example

This teaching diagram shows "go" on the left and "no-go" on the right. It is not a real trade.

Flow Pro go or no-go
Real activity confirms a move. It does not predict one. Teaching diagram, not a real trade.
Dead flow: low activity and no clear side means no trade
No volume, no edge. Teaching diagram, not a real trade.

Common mistakes

  • Trading out of boredom. If Flow Pro is dead, close the chart and come back later.
  • Letting a great level override this step. A great level with no activity is still a no.
  • Reading one bar. Look for bars building in one direction, not a single spike.
