Handbook / How the server works
Server rules and alerts
The house rules, what we will never do in DMs, and how alerts reach you.
In one sentence
Be kind, keep advice in the open channels, and remember that no one here gives personal investment advice.
Why it matters
A trading room only works if people feel safe to share losses and ask basic questions.
It also has to be clear what the server is. It is education and our own trades. It is not personal advice.
Do this
- Read the rules channel when you join.
- Keep questions in the open channels, so everyone can learn from the answer.
- If someone offers you "private signals" in a DM, do not reply. Tell the team in the server.
- Share losses as well as wins. Both help other members.
- For alerts, check the role-select channel. There you can choose which pings you get.
- Never post account balances, passwords, logins or order IDs. Not in chat, not in screenshots.
The full rules are in the rules channel. These are Sage's house rules, from his first post to the server (November 2025):
- "Be respectful."
- "Focus on your money"
- "Be Ambitious"
- "Never Stop Learning"
- "Be open to being the dumbest person in the room for a while."
- "You are responsible for your money. No one here will ever recommend oversizing."
Real example
How alerts reach you. Trade posts go into the channels listed on Channels by plan. We never send trade posts by direct message.
Sage posts his trades as he takes them. His posts in the Pro channels usually tag @here or @everyone. So if Discord notifications are on for those channels, your phone or computer pings you. See real examples of his posts on Swing trades.
Common mistakes
- Trusting DMs. Scammers copy trading servers. We will never send you a trade by DM.
- Asking "should I buy this?" No one can answer that for your money. Ask how to think about it instead.
- Muting everything. Turn on the few pings that matter to you, so you do not miss them.
