Nexural QWAP

VWAP with bands and buying and selling context, to judge how price behaves around fair value.

In one sentence

QWAP adds flow and volatility context to VWAP. It helps you judge if price is being accepted, stretching, sweeping, or being soaked up around the day's fair value.

Why it matters

VWAP is the volume weighted average price, a common measure of the session's fair value. QWAP draws bands around it. The bands show how far price has moved from VWAP in standard steps, and they widen when price gets wilder.

It adds CVD, cumulative volume delta, a running total of buying minus selling volume. It also marks divergence (price and CVD disagree), absorption (effort with little result), sweeps, and stacked imbalances. A panel shows bias, setup quality, how busy trading is, and how wild the market is. The open and the last hour count more than the lunch hours.

Pair it with a type-of-market tool, one timing trigger, and a volume check.

Do this

  1. Set the VWAP session start correctly for the market you trade.
  2. Measure where price is and how many bands away before you read a touch.
  3. Check CVD and the pattern labels for signs of acceptance, absorption, or a sweep.
  4. Combine this with the type of market, the structure, and your own risk limits.

Real example

This is a teaching example, not a real trade.

Price tests the lower band on a calm day, while CVD rises. The stretch and the divergence support a snap-back idea. But a band touch alone is not enough. Wait for price to hold and a clear trigger. Skip the trade if the market is trending hard the other way.

Common mistakes

  • Buying every lower band touch.
  • Thinking a CVD divergence must play out right away.
  • Comparing VWAPs that start at different times.
  • Assuming every VWAP or band touch must bounce or hold.

What it can't do

A VWAP touch is not an entry or a reversal signal. TradingView has no tick data, so the flow here is a guess from smaller bars, not true buyer and seller data. The setup quality number is a model score, not a chance of winning.
