Nexural Pressure Pro

Shows which side is pushing and whether that push is actually moving price.

Open on TradingView

In one sentence

Pressure Pro asks which side is pushing. Then it asks if that push is really moving price.

Why it matters

DI+ and DI− are the directional index lines. They show buying push and selling push. Delta (buying minus selling volume) and imbalance show who is trading. Two scores compare effort with result. If a lot of volume goes in but price barely moves, that is absorption. It means someone may be soaking up the orders.

The tool calls a strong push when volume is over 1.5 times normal, delta is over 55%, and one side is 2.5 times the other. It uses separate bands to turn on and off, 22 and 12 by default, so the state does not flip back and forth. It uses real delta when it can and an estimate from candles when it cannot.

A panel shows the state, the bigger chart's bias, a confidence score, and the type of market. Pair it with a level from Volume Profile or QWAP and one timing tool.

Do this

  1. Start with the bigger chart's structure and a level that matters.
  2. Compare the push direction with effort versus result.
  3. Check the bigger chart's bias and the confidence score. Neither one is certain.
  4. Say no when conflict or absorption goes against the move you want.

Real example

This is a teaching example, not a real trade.

At a ceiling where sellers showed up before, the DI lines turn bullish and delta is positive. But a lot of effort gives very little upward move. The push looks bullish, but the effort and result warn of absorption. Do not let the confidence score outrank that warning. Wait for price to hold higher, or pass.

Common mistakes

  • Reading confidence as the chance of winning.
  • Ignoring absorption because the direction looks good.
  • Mixing results from real delta and estimated delta in one test.

What it can't do

A high confidence score does not mean the move will keep going. You still need risk limits.
