In one sentence

QFA Pro ranks signs of a possible bottom after fear and selling build up. It helps you organize a reversal idea. It cannot name the exact low.

Why it matters

Use it only after a clear selloff. The 0 to 100 score mixes a peak, divergence, support, volume, the POC (point of control, the price with the most trading), fear, and bonus points. Divergence is when price and a push reading like RSI disagree. RSI divergence adds 25 points and a peak adds 20. Support, a floor where buyers held before, adds 20 to 30. Volume events and fear bonuses add smaller amounts.

Three tiers, instant, building, and early, show how close the score is to your limit. You can see which parts built the score: support touches, absorption, wick rejection, climax, and divergence. Several bonuses can come from the same selloff, so the total is not a count of separate causes. Pair it with a floor from Volume Profile and a clear exit point.

Do this

  1. Check that there is a clear selloff and a floor that matters.
  2. Open the score parts. Do not read only the total.
  3. Wait for price and volume to show that sellers no longer control the market.
  4. Put your exit point past the structure. Drop the idea if the floor fails.

Real example

This is a teaching example, not a real trade.

QFA reaches the building tier near a floor from the profile. Most of the score comes from RSI divergence and a fear bonus. Signs of a turn are adding up, but a bounce off the floor and signs of absorption are still missing. Keep watching. Do not get ahead of the score. Wait for the missing proof.

Common mistakes

  • Calling a high score the bottom.
  • Ignoring which parts built the score.
  • Adding to a losing trade while the structure keeps failing.

What it can't do

A high score is not proof of a bottom. The public page calls the tool experimental and notes a real lag problem. On TradingView it's called "QFA Volatility Meter."
