In one sentence

VHull Elite is a clean trend line. It adjusts its smoothing and brightness so you can tell a real trend from chop and quiet trading.

VHull Adaptive on a 5-minute QQQ chart: a smooth line on price that is green when rising and red when falling

Why it matters

The line is based on a Hull moving average (HMA), a fast type of price average. It shows direction, and brightness shows trend strength. Labels mark strong trend, trend, range, wild chop, and quiet markets. The tool blends the Hull average with a fast EMA, another average, and shifts the mix as price swings change.

A filter tries to cut false flips without making the line slow. It tells you about trend quality. It does not tell you where to start a trade. Pair it with QVS Pro or Regime Matrix for the market type, and a level tool like Volume Profile.

Do this

  1. Read the market label before you use the line's direction.
  2. Compare the brightness with the bigger chart's structure.
  3. Use a level tool to decide where a trend trade could make sense.
  4. Skip the setup when chop, a stretched price, or bad risk wins out.

Real example

This is a teaching example, not a real trade.

VHull stays bright and bullish while price pulls back to a fresh profile level. The trend supports a buy idea, and the level makes it worth watching. Wait for timing and volume. VHull gives context. It does not pull the trigger.

Common mistakes

  • Buying because the line is bright.
  • Ignoring how far price has run before you enter.
  • Thinking smoothing means the trend must last.

What it can't do

Smoothing does not remove lag or false flips. It does not promise a trend will last. A bright trend state does not fix a poor level or poor reward for the risk. On TradingView it's called "VHull Adaptive."
